How we protect your documents
You trust us with your passport and personal details. Here is what we do to keep them safe.
Your documents are encrypted
Passport, ID and visa images, payment slips, your form answers and your messages with us are stored encrypted (AES-256). A copy of our database or disk on its own is unreadable.
Only you โ and our team โ can see them
Your application opens only when you're signed in to your own account. Our staff sign in with a password plus a second step (an authenticator app or passkey), and every staff sign-in alerts the owner immediately.
Every look at your documents is recorded
Whenever a team member opens one of your documents, it's written to an activity log that can't be edited from the website. We review security activity every week.
Secure connection, always
The whole site works only over HTTPS, so what you upload is encrypted on its way to us. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash โ nobody, including us, can read it.
We never see your card number
Card payments go straight to our payment provider; card numbers never reach our servers. Every payment is checked on our side before your order moves on.
Your data, your choice
We use your information only to prepare and file your application โ we never sell it. You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
How to protect yourself
- Our website is tintax.org โ check the address before you sign in or upload anything.
- Only pay to the PromptPay or bank details shown on your order's payment page. We will never ask you to pay a different account by message.
- We will never ask for your password or a verification code.
- The IRS doesn't call applicants. Calls or messages claiming to be the IRS are almost always scams.
