Service Agreement

This agreement applies when you use TinTax's services. Please read it before you sign up, send us your information or pay. You accept it by ticking the box that says you agree to it, for example when you sign up, send an information form or pay. If you (or your guardian) do not agree with any part of this agreement, please do not use our services.

1. Our services

TinTax helps you prepare and file applications and forms with U.S. authorities: a U.S. Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN, IRS Form W-7), an Employer Identification Number (EIN), forming a U.S. limited liability company (LLC), and U.S. tax returns, together with the related filings. We work in accordance with the requirements of the IRS and of the other U.S. authority involved.

2. Your responsibilities

You provide information that is true, accurate, and complete.
You upload clear, valid (non-expired) documents.
For an ITIN, you confirm you are not eligible for a U.S. Social Security Number (SSN).

3. Our responsibilities

We prepare your application or filing based on the information you provide.
We store your information securely and use it only to deliver the services you order, as explained in our Privacy Notice.
We keep you informed of the progress of your order.

4. No guarantee of outcome

Whether an ITIN or EIN is issued, a company is formed, or a tax return is accepted is decided solely by the IRS or, for a company, by the U.S. state where it is formed. TinTax cannot guarantee approval, and processing times depend on that authority.

5. Not legal or tax advice

TinTax provides a preparation and filing service. We are not affiliated with the IRS and do not provide legal or tax advice.

6. Applicants under 20

If the applicant is under 20, a parent or legal guardian places the order and agrees to this agreement on their behalf.

7. Cancellations and refunds

If you want to cancel an order or ask about a refund, please contact TinTax: email [email protected] or message us on LINE (link on the Support page).

8. Changes to this agreement

This is version 2. It replaces the earlier Filler Agreement, which covered the ITIN form only. If we make an important change to this agreement, we publish the new version on this page with a new version number, and we ask you to accept it before you send us information or pay again. For a small change that does not affect your rights or duties, such as clearer wording or a corrected typo, we publish the new version here with a new version number without asking you again. Versions that customers have accepted stay available on this site. We keep a record of which version you accepted and when.
